The pet portrait Christmas ornament has 6 choices:

  • The portrait: your pet’s face, drawn from the photo you upload.
  • The Santa hat: a red Santa hat stitched on your pet’s head, or no hat.
  • The fabric: a striped, canvas or gingham background from the fabric chart.

Which fabric should you choose?

A pale canvas, like the one in the photos, lets every coat color show, and a striped or gingham fabric adds a playful pattern behind the portrait. A red or green gingham gives the ornament a classic Christmas look. Pick a name thread color that stands out from the fabric: a light thread on a dark fabric and a dark thread on a pale one.

Which photo works best?

A clear, bright photo of your pet’s whole face works best: both eyes and both ears in view, taken at your pet’s eye level, without blur, heavy filters or anything covering the face. A bright photo shows the real coat colors, so the thread colors on the proof match your pet. The photo guide in the gallery shows good and poor examples.

How does the ornament hang on the tree?

Every hoop has a bronze-tone hanger on top, so a small one hangs from a branch with an ornament hook or a ribbon. The larger sizes suit a wall, a door, a mantel or a shelf.
