Pitbull Valentine Sweatshirt: Four Pitbull Silhouettes in Red Bandanas with a Heart Headband

This pitbull Valentine sweatshirt lines up four pitbulls across the chest, each one in its own pose. The first lies down and looks back over its shoulder in a red bandana, the second stands tall in a headband with two little red hearts on springs, the third sits up straight in another red bandana, and the fourth stretches out in a long play bow toward a single red heart floating above it. The pitbulls are solid black silhouettes with cropped ears and strong, broad heads, so every red heart and bandana stands out clearly. It is a ready-made design: choose the color and size, add a name or icon on the sleeve if you like, and we stitch it to order. Every stitch is 100% real embroidery, stitched into the fabric rather than printed.

What is on the pitbull Valentine sweatshirt?

The pitbull Valentine sweatshirt has 2 parts:

• The front: four black pitbull silhouettes in a row with two red bandanas, a red heart headband and a floating red heart, centered on the chest.
• The sleeve (optional): a name, initials or short word and an icon from the font and icon chart, in the font and thread color you choose, on the left or right sleeve.

Which color should you choose?

Pick a color in the options above and the photos switch to it, so you can see the pitbulls on that color before you order. Light neutrals, white and soft pastels give the black silhouettes and the red hearts the strongest contrast. On mid-tone blues, greens and darker heathers the pitbulls look a little softer while the red bandanas and hearts pop even more, and on the pinks the hearts blend in a little, so the dogs lead.

How do you order your sweatshirt?

To order your sweatshirt, follow 4 steps:

• Choose the sweatshirt color and size in the options above.
• Choose whether to add sleeve embroidery.
• If you add it, type the name or initials, then pick the icon, font, thread color and sleeve.
• Add it to your cart; we email a free design proof before we stitch.

How do you add a name or icon on the sleeve?

Sleeve embroidery is optional and goes on one sleeve. Type a short name or your initials, such as your pitbull’s name, and pick an icon, a font and a thread color from the charts in the photos, or leave the icon off. A small heart icon next to the name suits this design. White thread is preselected because it reads best on dark sweatshirts; pick Black or another dark thread for the light colors.

Is it a pitbull heart sweatshirt you can wear all year?

Yes. The hearts make it a natural pick for February, but there is no date or holiday text in the design, so this pitbull heart sweatshirt works for a birthday, a gotcha day or any cozy weekend. The red bandanas also make it a fun pitbull bandana sweatshirt for anyone whose dog never leaves home without one.

Is it a good Valentine’s gift for a pitbull lover?

Yes. It is a sweet pit bull Valentines Day sweatshirt for a pitbull mom or dad, a partner who shares a rescue pitbull with you, or a friend who volunteers at a shelter. Add the dog’s name on the sleeve, and find more ideas in our dog lover gifts.

Is there a hoodie or T-shirt version?

No. This design comes only on the crewneck sweatshirt, so the color and size options above are all for that sweatshirt.

What happens after you order?

We email you a free digital design proof, and you can ask for unlimited edits. Once you approve it, we embroider your sweatshirt to order and ship it from the USA; the estimated delivery date is shown on this page. For Valentine’s Day or any holiday, order at least two weeks ahead.

Which size should you choose?

Each piece is made to order, so it is not eligible for size exchanges. Open the size guide on this page and compare the measurements with a sweatshirt you already own before you order; we suggest sizing up if you are between sizes.

How should you wash an embroidered sweatshirt?

To keep the embroidery bright and flat, follow 4 steps:

• Turn the sweatshirt inside out before washing.
• Wash it cold on a gentle cycle.
• Tumble dry low or hang it to dry.
• Iron on the reverse side, never directly on the embroidery.

Frequently asked questions

Are the pitbulls printed or embroidered?

They are embroidered. The black pitbull silhouettes, the bandanas, the heart headband, the floating heart and the sleeve name are all stitched in thread, so they have a raised texture you can feel and will not crack or peel like a print.

Is the same row of pitbulls made for other holidays?

Yes. Our pitbull silhouette Christmas sweatshirt dresses the same style of black pitbulls in hats, scarves and snow for the winter holidays, while this one gives them red bandanas and hearts.

Can the pitbulls look like my own dog?

These pitbulls are a ready-made design. To stitch your own dog from a photo, choose the custom dog crewneck, and find more designs in our pitbull sweatshirts.
