Chocolate Lab Ghost Sweatshirt: Embroidered Brown Labrador Trick-or-Treating with Bats

This chocolate lab ghost sweatshirt shows a brown Labrador who has borrowed a bedsheet for trick-or-treat night. The white sheet hangs over its head in soft folds, but the chocolate ears flop out at the sides and the dog’s face shows through the cut-out, with wide eyes glancing up and a brown nose. A smiling peach-orange jack-o’-lantern bucket dangles from its mouth, its brown legs and long tail stick out under the hem, a round pumpkin sits at its side and three black bats fly off to the upper right. Thin dark outlines give the whole scene a hand-drawn look, and it sits small on the left chest. It is a ready-made design: choose the color and size, add a name or icon on the sleeve if you like, and we stitch it to order. Every stitch is 100% real embroidery, stitched into the fabric rather than printed.

What does the chocolate lab ghost sweatshirt show?

The chocolate lab ghost sweatshirt has 3 parts:

• The lab: a sitting chocolate Labrador in a white ghost sheet, with its brown ears, face, legs and tail showing, small on the left chest.
• The trick-or-treat details: a jack-o’-lantern bucket, a round pumpkin and three black bats.
• The sleeve (optional): a name, initials or short word and an icon from the font and icon chart, in the font and thread color you choose, on the left or right sleeve.

Which color makes the brown coat stand out?

Pick a color in the options above and the photos switch to it, so you can see the lab on that color before you order.

The chocolate coat, the white sheet and the black bats all read clearly on light and mid-tone colors. On the deepest colors the brown ears and the bats sit closer to the fabric, so the white ghost sheet and the peach pumpkins carry the design.

How do you order your sweatshirt?

To order your sweatshirt, follow 4 steps:

• Choose the sweatshirt color and size in the options above.
• Choose whether to add sleeve embroidery.
• If you add it, type the name or initials, then pick the icon, font, thread color and sleeve.
• Add it to your cart; we email a free design proof before we stitch.

How do you add a name or icon on the sleeve?

Sleeve embroidery is optional and goes on one sleeve. Type a short name or your initials, such as your lab’s name, and pick an icon, a font and a thread color from the charts in the photos, or leave the icon off. White thread is preselected for the darker colors; pick Black or another dark thread for the light colors.

Is it a chocolate lab Halloween sweatshirt you can wear all fall?

Yes. The ghost costume, the bucket and the bats make it a chocolate lab Halloween sweatshirt for costume parades, candy at the door and pumpkin carving, and the small left-chest design keeps it easy to wear from September through Thanksgiving. It has no words on it, so it suits a lab mom, a lab dad or a teen alike.

Who would love it as a gift?

Anyone who lives with a chocolate Labrador and laughs when the dog steals a sock or a sheet. It suits a lab mom, a hunting buddy with a brown lab, or a friend who just adopted a chocolate lab puppy. Add the dog’s name on the sleeve to make it personal, and find more ideas in our dog lover gifts.

Is there a hoodie or T-shirt version?

There is no hoodie, but there is a T-shirt: the same lab in its ghost sheet comes on our chocolate lab ghost shirt, a soft short-sleeve tee for warmer fall days. The color and size options above are for the crewneck sweatshirt.

What happens after you order?

We email you a free digital design proof, and you can ask for unlimited edits. Once you approve it, we embroider your sweatshirt to order and ship it from the USA; the estimated delivery date is shown on this page. For Halloween or any holiday, order at least two weeks ahead.

Which size should you choose?

Each piece is made to order, so it is not eligible for size exchanges. Open the size guide on this page and compare the chest width and length with a sweatshirt you already own before you order. Size up for an oversized look.

How should you wash an embroidered sweatshirt?

To keep the embroidery bright and the color even, follow 4 steps:

• Turn the sweatshirt inside out before washing.
• Wash it cold with similar colors.
• Tumble dry low or hang it to dry.
• Iron on the reverse side, never directly on the embroidery.

Frequently asked questions

Is the chocolate lab embroidered or printed?

It is embroidered. The ghost sheet, the brown coat, the jack-o’-lantern, the pumpkin, the bats and the sleeve name are stitched in thread, so the design has a raised texture you can feel and will not crack or peel like a print.

How is it different from the yellow lab ghost sweatshirt?

Only the coat and the bats change. The yellow lab ghost sweatshirt has a yellow Labrador with a deeper orange pumpkin and two bats on either side, while this chocolate lab ghost costume sweatshirt has a brown lab, softer peach pumpkins and a trio of bats on one side. Both sit small on the left chest.

Is it a chocolate lab trick or treat sweatshirt for my own dog?

This lab is a ready-made chocolate lab trick or treat sweatshirt design. To stitch your own dog from a photo, choose the custom dog crewneck, and see more labs in our Labrador sweatshirts.
