Dachshunds in Halloween Costumes Sweatshirt: Embroidered Witch, Mummy and Pumpkin Doxies

This dachshunds in Halloween costumes sweatshirt lines up three tan doxies on their way to a costume party. The first wears a purple witch hat with an orange buckle and a flowing purple cape, the second is wrapped head to tail in white mummy bandages with only its ears and nose showing, and the third waddles along in a round orange pumpkin suit with a grinning jack-o’-lantern balanced on its head. A small black bat and a pair of four-point sparkles float above each dog, and the words “HAPPY HALLOWEENIE” can run underneath in thin capital letters. It is a ready-made design: choose the sweatshirt, color and size, keep or drop the words, add a name or icon on the sleeve if you like, and we stitch it to order. Every stitch is 100% real embroidery, stitched into the fabric rather than printed.

What is on the dachshunds in Halloween costumes sweatshirt?

The dachshunds in Halloween costumes sweatshirt has 4 parts:

• The dogs: a witch dachshund, a mummy dachshund and a pumpkin dachshund walking in a row across the chest.
• The bats: one little black bat and two sparkles above each dog.
• The words (optional): “HAPPY HALLOWEENIE” in thin capital letters under the dogs.
• The sleeve (optional): a name, initials or short word and an icon from the font and icon chart, in the font and thread color you choose, on the left or right sleeve.

Can you leave off the words?

Yes. Choose “HAPPY HALLOWEENIE” or “No words” in the options above. The photos show both versions: some sweatshirts carry the words under the dogs, and others show only the three dachshunds and their bats. As in the photos, the words are stitched in black on the light colors and in white on the darker ones, so they stay easy to read. Without the words, the design reads as a simple costume parade you can wear all autumn.

Which sweatshirt and color should you choose?

Choose the sweatshirt, then its color and size, in the options above. Each sweatshirt shows its own colors and sizes, and when you pick a color that has a photo, the photos switch to it.

The tan dogs, the purple witch outfit and the orange pumpkin suit stand out on almost every color. The white mummy shows best on mid-tone and dark colors, while on the palest colors it reads as a softer, cream-on-cream shape outlined in dark thread. Pick a color close to your own dachshund’s coat or simply your favorite fall shade.

How do you order your sweatshirt?

To order your sweatshirt, follow 6 steps:

• Choose the sweatshirt you want.
• Choose its color and size in the options above.
• Keep “HAPPY HALLOWEENIE” under the dogs or choose No words.
• Choose whether to add sleeve embroidery.
• If you add it, type the name or initials, then pick the icon, font, thread color and sleeve.
• Add it to your cart; we email a free design proof before we stitch.

How do you add a name or icon on the sleeve?

Sleeve embroidery is optional and goes on one sleeve. Type a short name or your initials, such as your doxie’s name, and pick an icon, a font and a thread color from the charts in the photos, or leave the icon off. White thread is preselected for the darker colors; pick Black or another dark thread for the light colors.

Is it a witch dachshund sweatshirt or a dachshund mummy sweatshirt?

It is both, plus a pumpkin. Instead of choosing one costume, this three dachshunds Halloween sweatshirt puts a witch dachshund, a dachshund mummy and a pumpkin doxie side by side, the way a dachshund family shows up to a costume contest. That makes it a good pick for a home with more than one wiener dog, or for anyone who can never decide which costume is cutest.

Is it a good Halloween gift?

Yes. It suits a dachshund mom or dad, a doxie rescue volunteer or a friend who dresses their wiener dog up every October. Add the dog’s name on the sleeve to make it personal, and find more ideas in our dachshund gifts and Halloween dog sweatshirts.

Is there a hoodie or T-shirt version?

No. This design comes only as a crewneck sweatshirt, and the color and size options above change with the sweatshirt you pick.

What happens after you order?

We email you a free digital design proof, and you can ask for unlimited edits. Once you approve it, we embroider your sweatshirt to order and ship it from the USA; the estimated delivery date is shown on this page. For Halloween or any holiday, order at least two weeks ahead.

Which size should you choose?

Each piece is made to order, so it is not eligible for size exchanges. Open the size guide on this page and compare the chest width and length with a sweatshirt you already own before you order. Size up for an oversized look.

How should you wash an embroidered sweatshirt?

To keep the embroidery bright and the color even, follow 4 steps:

• Turn the sweatshirt inside out before washing.
• Wash it cold with similar colors.
• Tumble dry low or hang it to dry.
• Iron on the reverse side, never directly on the embroidery.

Frequently asked questions

Is the design printed or embroidered?

It is embroidered. The costumes, the bats, the sparkles and the words are stitched in thread, so the design has a raised texture you can feel and will not crack or peel like a print.

How is it different from the happy Halloweenie sweatshirt?

Our happy Halloweenie sweatshirt shows one dachshund in a ghost sheet flying on a broom above the words in script. This design shows three dachshunds in three costumes, with the words in plain capitals or left off.

Are there other dachshund costume designs?

Yes. Our Halloween dachshunds quarter zip has four black and tan dachshunds dressed as a witch, a pumpkin, a ghost and a skeleton, and more doxie designs are in our dachshund sweatshirts.
