Floral Black Lab Sweatshirt: Embroidered Labrador Silhouette Among Spring Flowers and a Butterfly

This floral black lab sweatshirt shows a black Labrador sitting calmly in a little garden, head up and turned toward a pink butterfly that has drifted close to its nose. The lab is a solid black silhouette, and around it grow spring flowers on green stems: nodding yellow bell flowers on both sides, a tall white tulip, a bright pink daisy and a smaller white blossom with a pink center at its paws. It is a ready-made design: choose the sweatshirt, color and size, add a name or icon on the sleeve if you like, and we stitch it to order. Every stitch is 100% real embroidery, stitched into the fabric rather than printed.

What is on the floral black lab sweatshirt?

The floral black lab sweatshirt has 2 parts:

• The front: a sitting black Labrador silhouette among yellow, pink and white spring flowers, with a pink butterfly, centered on the chest.
• The sleeve (optional): a name, initials or short word and an icon from the font and icon chart, in the font and thread color you choose, on the left or right sleeve.

Which sweatshirt and color should you choose?

Choose the sweatshirt, then its color and size, in the options above. There are two crewneck sweatshirts to pick from in the first option, and each shows its own colors and sizes. Pick a color and the photos switch to it, so you can see the garden on that color before you order.

The black lab and the bright flowers stand out most on light, warm and soft pastel colors, which is the classic spring look. On mid-tone colors the flowers glow and the lab still reads clearly; on the darkest colors the black lab turns into a quiet shadow and the flowers carry the design.

How do you order your sweatshirt?

To order your sweatshirt, follow 5 steps:

• Choose the sweatshirt you want.
• Choose its color and size in the options above.
• Choose whether to add sleeve embroidery.
• If you add it, type the name or initials, then pick the icon, font, thread color and sleeve.
• Add it to your cart; we email a free design proof before we stitch.

How do you add a name or icon on the sleeve?

Sleeve embroidery is optional and goes on one sleeve. Type a short name or your initials, such as your lab’s name, and pick an icon, a font and a thread color from the charts in the photos, or leave the icon off. White thread is preselected for the darker colors; pick Black or another dark thread for the light colors.

Is it a spring black lab sweatshirt or a cottagecore one?

Both. The bell flowers, the tulip and the butterfly make it a spring black lab sweatshirt for Easter, garden days and the first warm walks, and the soft, hand-drawn garden is pure cottagecore. Nothing on it is tied to a date, so it works from early spring well into summer evenings.

Is it a good gift for a black lab mom?

Yes. It suits a black lab mom who loves her garden, a friend who just adopted a lab or anyone who needs a cheerful spring piece, and it makes an easy Mother’s Day or birthday gift. Add the dog’s name on the sleeve, and find more ideas in our dog mom gifts.

Is there a hoodie or T-shirt version?

No. This design comes on two crewneck sweatshirts, so the options above are all for a sweatshirt.

What happens after you order?

We email you a free digital design proof, and you can ask for unlimited edits. Once you approve it, we embroider your sweatshirt to order and ship it from the USA; the estimated delivery date is shown on this page. For a birthday or a holiday, order at least two weeks ahead.

Which size should you choose?

Each piece is made to order, so it is not eligible for size exchanges. Open the size guide on this page and compare the chest width and length with a sweatshirt you already own before you order. Size up for an oversized look.

How should you wash an embroidered sweatshirt?

To keep the embroidery bright and the color even, follow 4 steps:

• Turn the sweatshirt inside out before washing.
• Wash it cold with similar colors.
• Tumble dry low or hang it to dry.
• Iron on the reverse side, never directly on the embroidery.

Frequently asked questions

Are the flowers printed or embroidered?

They are embroidered. The lab, every flower, the stems, the butterfly and the sleeve name are stitched in thread, so they have a raised texture you can feel and will not crack or peel like a print.

Is there a fall version with a black lab?

Yes. The black lab fall sweatshirt has a standing black lab under a swirl of autumn leaves instead of a sitting lab in spring flowers.

Can the lab look like my own dog?

This lab is a ready-made silhouette. To stitch your own dog’s face from a photo, choose the custom dog crewneck, and see more labs in our labrador sweatshirts.
