Black and White Pitbull Christmas Sweatshirt: Embroidered Pit Bull in a Santa Hat with a Gift

Here is a black and white pitbull Christmas sweatshirt with a lot of personality: one grinning pit bull in a Santa hat sits next to a wrapped present, a striped candy cane clamped proudly in its mouth. It is a ready-made design that we embroider to order on the chest, and the coat, hat and gift are all stitched thread, not a print.

What is on the black and white pitbull Christmas sweatshirt?

The dog sits up straight and looks right at you, head tilted slightly, with the gift box just beside it. The details:

• The pit bull: a glossy black coat with a white blaze between the eyes, a white muzzle and a broad white chest, white front paws and a pink tongue showing in a wide grin.
• The candy cane: red and white stripes, held sideways in its mouth like a favorite chew toy.
• The Santa hat: red with a white brim and pom-pom, flopping over one ear.
• The present: a green box covered in white polka dots, tied with a pink ribbon and a big bow.

Why does the pit bull have a candy cane?

Pit bulls are strong, muscular dogs with broad heads and a wide mouth that makes them look like they are always smiling, and many of them love nothing more than carrying a toy around the house. This one has found the most festive toy in the room and is clearly not giving it back. The gift box beside it adds a second joke: the dog is sitting guard over a present that may or may not be its own. It works as a pit bull Christmas present sweatshirt because the whole scene is about the holiday treat. Black and white pit bull owners will recognize the look.

Which color should you choose?

Light and mid-tone colors show everything at once: the black coat, the red hat and candy cane and the green box. On dark colors the black coat sits close to the fabric, and the white blaze, white chest, Santa hat and gift box carry the design. Every color in the options above has its own photo, so you can preview the pit bull on it before ordering.

Who is this pit bull holiday sweatshirt for?

Picture it on the person whose couch belongs to a black and white pit bull, on a shelter volunteer or foster, or on a friend who just adopted a bully breed. With no words on it, it works for a pitbull mom or dad as a pit bull holiday sweatshirt from Thanksgiving through New Year’s. As a pitbull Christmas gift sweatshirt it is an easy pick for a gift exchange. This design comes only on the crewneck sweatshirt. More gift ideas are in our dog lover gifts.

Can you add a name to the sleeve?

Yes, and it is entirely optional. One sleeve can carry your pit bull’s name or your initials, with or without an icon, in a font and thread color picked from the charts in the photos. White comes selected since it stands out on dark sweatshirts; choose Black or a darker thread when the sweatshirt is light.

Ordering, sizing and care

This sweatshirt is embroidered to order and ships from the USA, with the estimated delivery date shown on this page. We email a free design proof first, and you can request unlimited edits. To receive it by Christmas Day, order by December 8 in the U.S. or by November 23 outside the U.S. Size exchanges are not offered on made-to-order pieces, so use the size guide on this page. Wash it cold and inside out, and iron around the embroidery, never on it. For other breeds in holiday outfits, see our dog Christmas sweatshirts.

Frequently asked questions

Can the pit bull look like my own dog?

Not this one; the pit bull, candy cane and gift are a set design. For a portrait of your own dog from a photo, go to the custom dog Christmas sweatshirt, which you can also get as a T-shirt.

Are there other pitbull Christmas designs?

Yes. If one pit bull is not enough, our pitbull Santa hat sweatshirt has three of them in Santa hats and scarves, and more pitbull designs are in our pitbull sweatshirts.

Is the pitbull printed or embroidered?

Embroidered. The candy cane stripes and the polka dots on the box are separate stitched details, so the design stays crisp and textured instead of fading like ink.
