Cute Shih Tzu Shirt: Embroidered Gold and White Shih Tzu Puppy

This cute Shih Tzu shirt shows a Shih Tzu puppy standing with its head turned toward you, big dark eyes peeking through a fringe of cream fur, brown ears, a golden back and a fluffy tail curled up over its back. It is a ready-made design on a soft, short-sleeve T-shirt: choose the color and size, add a name or icon on the sleeve if you like, and we stitch it to order. Every stitch is 100% real embroidery, stitched into the fabric rather than printed.

What is on the cute Shih Tzu shirt?

The cute Shih Tzu shirt has 2 parts:

• The Shih Tzu: centered on the chest. The puppy has a cream and white coat with golden tan on its back and hips, darker brown ears, a brown nose and dark eyes, and every lock of its long coat is drawn with fine dark fur lines.
• The sleeve (optional): a name, initials or short word and an icon from the font and icon chart, in the font and thread color you choose, on the left or right sleeve.

Which color should you choose?

Pick a color in the options above and the photos switch to it, so you can see the design on that color before you order.

The cream coat stands out most on dark colors and mid-tones. On light colors the cream fur looks pale, so the golden back, the brown ears and the fine fur lines carry the design, and on warm colors close to the golden and brown parts, those parts sit closer to the fabric color while the cream face stays clear.

How do you order your T-shirt?

To order your T-shirt, follow 4 steps:

• Choose the T-shirt color and size in the options above.
• Choose whether to add sleeve embroidery.
• If you add it, type the name or initials, then pick the icon, font, thread color and sleeve.
• Add it to your cart; we email a free design proof before we stitch.

How do you add a name or icon on the sleeve?

Sleeve embroidery is optional and goes on one short sleeve. Type a short name or your initials, such as your Shih Tzu’s name, and pick an icon, a font and a thread color from the charts in the photos, or leave the icon off. White thread is preselected because it reads best on dark shirts; pick Black or another dark thread for the light colors.

Is this Shih Tzu shirt for people or for dogs?

This Shih Tzu shirt is for people. The puppy is the design, and you wear the tee, sized for adults, so it is not dog clothing. It has no words or dates on it, so you can wear it all year, from a dog park morning to a summer weekend.

Is there a sweatshirt version too?

Yes. The same Shih Tzu puppy comes on our Shih Tzu sweatshirt, a crewneck sweatshirt for cooler days. Choose this T-shirt for warm weather or layering, and the sweatshirt for a cozy fleece.

Is it a good gift for a Shih Tzu lover?

Yes. It suits a Shih Tzu mom or dad, a groomer, or anyone who has fallen for a gold and white Shih Tzu, and it makes an easy birthday, Mother’s Day or Christmas gift. Add their dog’s name or initials on the sleeve to make it personal.

What happens after you order?

We email you a free digital design proof, and you can ask for unlimited edits. Once you approve it, we embroider your T-shirt to order and ship it from the USA; the estimated delivery date is shown on this page. For a birthday or holiday, order at least two weeks ahead.

Which size should you choose?

Each piece is made to order, so it is not eligible for size exchanges. Open the size guide on this page and compare the measurements with a T-shirt you already own before you order, and size up if you want an oversized look or are between sizes.

How should you wash an embroidered T-shirt?

To keep the embroidery bright and the color even, follow 4 steps:

• Turn the T-shirt inside out before washing.
• Wash it cold with similar colors, and use only non-chlorine bleach.
• Tumble dry low or hang it to dry.
• Skip the dry cleaner, and if you iron, iron on the reverse side, never directly on the embroidery.

Frequently asked questions

Is it an embroidered Shih Tzu shirt or a print?

It is an embroidered Shih Tzu shirt. The puppy, its fur lines and the sleeve name are stitched in thread, so they have a raised texture you can feel and will not crack or peel like a print.

Can the Shih Tzu look like my own dog?

This Shih Tzu is a ready-made design. To stitch your own dog’s face from a photo, choose the custom dog crewneck.

Are there other Shih Tzu designs?

Yes. A Shih Tzu in a witch hat is on our Shih Tzu Halloween sweatshirt, more breeds are in our dog lover gifts, and more short-sleeve designs are in our embroidered T-shirts.
